After Upgrading To Catalina Excel Won't Work
- Reasons macOS Catalina won’t download: Definitely the internet connection is the biggest reason behind this particular error. One of the foremost reasons is the over usage of Apple users. As soon as an important update is announced, the download servers face an upward trajectory in traffic usage.
- To do that, Download and run the license removal tool to clear all license left on this Mac. Completely uninstall then reinstall from the version release history page. As all the latest version packages are 64-bit only, they can work well with Catalina because Catalina can only support 64-bit apps. Further Information.
- As you can see, it is possible to uninstall Catalina if you decide you don’t want to continue using it. It’s essential, however, that you backup your Mac before you upgrade. And remember, before you backup, clear out the clutter with CleanMyMac X. That way you won’t use precious space on your backup drive copying over junk files.
Aug 06, 2020 If you're using one of these computers with OS X Mavericks or later, you can install macOS Catalina.Your Mac also needs at least 4GB of memory and 12.5GB of available storage space, or up to 18.5GB of storage space when upgrading from OS X Yosemite or earlier. But don’t give up just yet! Try downloading Catalina once again — this time it will download it from the cached copy on your Mac which will take about 10-15 seconds. Now it should be ok. If it doesn’t help you can also: Simply restart your Mac; Download Catalina under different “user” on your Mac; Try to delete system cache with.
Firefox initially popped open a window stating that I already had another copy open and so wouldn't open. After some investigating, I found a fix and followed the steps to delete profiles - possibly the cause of the errors. (I had applied this solution once months ago and it had worked then.) Subsequent to this attempt, I was unable to open Firefox - even with the creation of new profile(s). Given the situation, I deleted Firefox entirely by dragging into Trash and emptying the trash and re-logging in. Downloaded a clean new install from the Mozilla website. Although the DMG file downloaded fine, when I attempt to copy app to Applications folder, the system hangs. So now there is no way to re-install Firefox?!
